I've just grown out of metal and got sick of pretty much sick of bands where I hear a complete lack of emotion in every song.

Welcome to musicians chat, arguing about your favorite bands is something you should bring to favorite songs and bands chatter. That being said, pop punk is one of my least favorite genres of music. Looks like we are going to get along excellently.

punk by definition belongs underground. it is not a style of clothing, or merely a "sound" it is a tool for social and political reform. so before you go trashing DIY bands look at your own scene. -btw i dont play punk rock or metal (unless i get a wild hair).

I grew out of repetitive shit riffs all written in the same key or overused diminished scales.

I have more fun playing pop punk than I did metal.

Maybe its because I'm no longer trying to impress turds like you.
