Not really that cool no

It's like when bands say "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" for apparently no reason, as a filler, i'm saying swearing as a filler.


Bands like Tool or Ministry use swear words well, either really low or at the climax of the song (because their songs build up over time and finish loud -- (reason for 8 minute tracks lol)

doesn't matter much to me. as long as the music itself has a peculiar art to it, lyrics kind of get cancelled out anyway.

It does depend, but generally i don't care. But, some bands add swearing into the lyrics very well. For instance, listen to Cowboys From Hell on the 101 Live album. Or, Slipknot - SiC!

For me, there's nothing cool about singing "FUCK FUCK SHIT FUCK FUCK" to a good tune, it's pointless. But, lyrically it can be fit in to be awesome

Swearing just to swear in music makes the song sound, imo, really bad. But if the word goes along with the music, and fits in, then I have no problem with it.
