blink-182 as an insult, props. I indeed agree pop music is the devil and deserves to rot in hell, and that everyone who listens to all this fake 'ska' these days is just a rude-boy wannabe with shitty taste and dumb style... or something.

Eh, I don't know if I'd take it that far...

For the kids that have grown up with acts like Dance Hall Crashers and Mustard Plug as their only reference to Ska, is it any wonder that artists on the Trojan record label sound so alien to them?

Same thing for kids that think of Punk in the context of Blink-182 or Green Day, who have no knowledge of MC5 or The Germs. It's all contextual.

i dont listen to too much ska, but i saw oreskaband live at warped tour and they were pretty good.
