ive been playin for 8 years, and i had lessons for a while, but i wasnt learning much and it wasnt fun for me. so basically i looked all over websites online and taught myself just about everything.

lessons are pretty useless if u ask me

I must say... it was great!
I learned the Pentatonic A scale and some finger excercises for solos.
Also, I learned to relax some fingers and he showed me where to hit.
I do not think these lessons are useless.
They are great!

I say lessons are good when you think you need it to move, personally I take a lesson when I feel i'm stuck and yeah it helps. It also depends on the teacher mine is following me and not vice-versa O_o

Well... my teacher has a Bachelor's degree in Music and from what i've seen, he is fuckin' siiiiiiick at guitar.
Right now, I am following him and using what he's teaching me to create my own style.

Lessons are fun.

Theory.

Second lesson today.
It went well.
I went over finger techniques again and we played a song by Europe.
I also got a huge amp.
Me, my Dad and my teacher are going to get me a distortion pedal tomorrow.

Awesome man I've had a Boss Distortion pedal before I bought my ME-50, fucking awesome pedal.

Boss = Best pedals ever

I'll keep it in mind tomrrow.
