It's better than no bass at all if you're learning how to play...

But I can't get over the fact that it's got one single-coil pick-up... it probably won't sound like a bass.

Use it for 6 months and buy something better, then give the bass away to a little cousin or something.

Its a bass..with a single coil. So the tone probably won't be too good, but for starting out it'll be just fine.

ha ha, this is a bass, but yeah its good =] just go from crap to great, get better and better and the better you get, get a better bass.
