HI FIVE KIRK FTW... idk i like slash.. but i hate guns n roses lol.. eric clapton was a really good player just not my style, angus gotta love him but my friedn plays same stuff he does and he sucks at guitar lol, jimi yes he was an inovator and a genius but he loses my appreciation when it comes to the fact that he threw his life away cuz he thought he was amazing enuff to take that many drugs, dont have a clue who jeff beck is... jimmy page amazing LOVE ZEPPLIN (love metallica more tho).. van halen i just dont find him all that amazing, keith richards (sounds familiar but not sure of band affiliation or skills, dimebag.. pantera was decent but just not my cup o tea altho they sound AMAZINGly close to metallica(met copied them imo) i just dont like their songs altho he was decent guitariest to bad singer had such bad back problems and too bad darrel sold drugs and got sum bad connections WE WILL MISS YOU!!

i think thats a decent reply as to why i chose who i did lol... mainyl cuz i havent found another person FACE to FACE that can play lead like kirk... and idc abt youtube cuz you can fake anything u want on youtube.. thats enuff for me im starting to ramble

There are tons of even average guitarists who could lead Kirk :-).

FKING LOL. "Mainstream?" Yngwie has absolutely no tone or soul, and just shreds really shitty all the time. That's NOT talent.

If you want to hear talent, listen to blues. Clapton, Beck, Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Albert King, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry, etc.

And most of all, Robert Johnson. NONE of these guitarists would be here today without Robert Johnson.
