i really want a mesa .. but they are stupid expensive ..

my buddy tells me to check out the b52 stacks .. what do you guys use?


i play mostly 80's rock / rock / heavy metal

id try out line6 i have the spyder 4 head comes with a ass load of different presets

computer generated effects are an evil thing and should be destroyed ..

if you have ever played through a mesa boogie .. you wouldnt even plug that line 6 in

i want a nice high end tube amp with some serious punch ..

my buddy has a dual rectifier from mesa .. but they start at like 1000$

ive been lookin at a b52 ls-100

What about the Bugeras? Checked out those? I haven't tried them out myself, but they're within your budget.

I haven't heard of the b52's, so idk anything about those.

watched a couple of vids on the head it sounds pretty good for its price.

Im trying to decide a stack for my bass set up ATM

i was always a fan of the SWR Workingman's series those heads are sick

my buddy has one with a full stack .. it hurts to be in the same room with it


i guess im gonna go with the b 52 ls-100 tube looks sweet and ive heard nothing but good about it .. the call it "the poor mans mesa"

Go for a older carvin.
1999 and before are amazing I use them
get really crunchy tone and if ya want soft for jazz and wut not
if not 5150s are always kinda good way op
better off just going engle amps spend money 1 time never have to again

if you go mesa should get duel rec trips are okay but not since they changed them

Go with Peavey 4X12 with either sheffield or scorpions speakers
