From one youtube review i viewed, i wouldnt like these. No grip and apparently very hard cuz he said they give trebly sound. Gripped esp 0.80 for guitar, dunlop tortex 0.73 for bass and diy shampoo bottle plectrum for uke ftw.

What makes these the best in your opinion?

GZ answer lol

No grip, not 1mm, not for me.

I have acoustic mincy faggot picks that are totally bendy, and then my 2mm picks for pure riffage, so i'll stick with my 1mms ty :D

Well, a lot of how you're using the pick decides tone more than the pick itself. So, I'm not too sure how being anal about that is a objective way to write a review, or how a piece of plastic can provide treble, but that's up for you to decide. As for the grip goes, I don't really have any sweat glands in my hands so this doesn't apply to me.

For a while, I went back and fourth between sharp picks and rounded, this is a really healthy medium. They also last forever, and are comfortable, and don't shoot out from my fingers in a sweaty glaze.

Buy a pack online for a couple bucks, it's honestly worth trying out.

The hardness of the pick matters quite alot to the sound, ofc how you use the pick matters too. Have you ever tested aluminium and some paper thing bendy plastic ones? The difference in sound between the two types of picks is huge. The guy reviewing the pick was comparing it to some other pick, this gave more trebly sound and more punch, as you would expect from harder material.

I dont really have a need for new picks. I rarely play guitar and usually play with fingers, also rarerily play bass with a pick and im happy with the current ones i have.

I was given a plextrum from Brian May of Queen at a theatre . It was a sixpence coin and he said "I've been using them ever since i started - got a bag of em at home! Can't beat the harmonics with them" i still have it - somewhere xD

Dunlop Jazz 3's. I prefer the Ultex ones. nice clear sound without the discusting pick noise every time you play. Quicker...easier pinch harmonics.. best pick around.

im not good at guitar, but i thought it was mostly the size that mattered with picks, what really is the difference between this and some other .73 picks. I have like every size between .5mm and 1.14mm, cause they never carry the 2mm ones at the music store, but i recently bought the "cellulose" type pick, cause it was interesting looking. Im not sure of the size but i would bet its between .73 and 1mm, and i really like the feel/sound of it, its slippery but thats not such a bad thing anyway, and the edges/material dont give as much of a twang as the plastic kinds. Plus, it smells like dirt... its weird ur fingers even smell like it after you play with it for awhile
