Keep going, keep messing around and experiencing new things, because you have potential. I always wanted to do some electo/dubsteb myself but never had the time to teach myself through FL and everything.
To Vein: Good idea, but like it was previously stated, aim for a different kick/snare combo. What I would suggest is getting a drum sample VSTi.
