Usually the tabs have legends could be different depending on who wrote it, look for "guitar tab legend" and see if you can find out.

Duration legend
---------------
W - whole
H - half
Q - quarter
E - 8th
S - 16th
T - 32nd
X - 64th
. - note dotted
|-n-| - n-tup-ets


Tablature Legend
----------------
- - tied note
x - dead note
g - grace note
(n) - ghost note
> - accentuded note
NH - natural harmonic

Not a standard symbol for tabs. Maybe some weird symbol the tabber made up? He used them like 10 times so I don't think it's typos.

No idea :S I say email the dude, they usually leave their email incase of mistakes or additions.

i did some googling and some people say it's a "tied" note, can anyone explain that? i watched some youtube videos but they didn't make much sense..
