I think he's trying to let you know that this topic would be better received in the Favorite Music and Bands or whatever forum. The musicians forum is more geared towards musicians discussing being a musician.

Of course, maybe you wanted to discuss the musicianship of that sort of music.

By the way, by musicianship I don't mean talk about who the best guitarist is. I mean discussing structure, tone, all that mojo that goes into arrangement and song-writing. I hate it when people blab about who the best guitarist is.

well ok... i'm still not convinced this isn't just a DETHCORE SO RAD thread, soooo why don't you start us off?

Well, a buddy of mine plays guitar for the hardcore band called Murder Death Kill. Fairly big, signed by Mediaskare and tour all over the damn place. But the dude seems to think all other music is garbage, faggots, non-talented.

I try to look at all music differently. Deathcore, hardcore, whatever, gets a ton of negative feed back. All music in its own right is "good".

My question is; and please answer with a logic explanation and dont just roll your face across the keyboard. Why do so many people hate on this genre of music? Yes, myself, i mainly listen to hardcore and deathcore. But nor do I talk down on other types of music.
