Youtube tutorials are honestly a great way to begin learning FL Studio. Try searching for a specific sound you want like, "Drop the World synth lead" or "Like a G6 bassline" etc.

I make techno so I won't be able to help with questions musically pertaining to R&B or Hip Hop but if you have any specific technical question, leave them here and I'll do my best to help.

If you have absolutely no experience with the program at all then yes you are right, there are many things that will come easily once you've started to learn the program and won't be explained in every tutorial.

There is a stickied thread on this forums about FL Studio basics, perhaps you could try there first until you feel more comfortable using the program.

lol, seriously though. Use your kicker, snare when needed and drop a simple bass line. Hip Hop is more about the lyrics anyway

Be more specific in what you need help with then, if you do have a solid understanding of the basics you shouldn't have any trouble following a tutorial.
