thanks man, but uhh i cant play 6ths lol. i can barely play triplets.
ive only taught myself guitar... and i dont play everyday and all the music i enjoy playing is just way too difficult for me which is discouraging
and i also don't know what i should be practicing in order to get better

Do what I sometimes do, and sometimes did, just shred the fuck out of the pentatonic scale at 5th fret and 12th fret. Shred it as fast and hard as your fingers can, and eventually you will just hit a note you like the sounds of, then start shredding with that note. Essentially - it's bad technique. But it'll certainly loosen your fingers up to faster stuff

Just put on a ton of reverb, distortion, and chorus (optional wah) like zakk, and you can mask all the dead notes and shred easier!

One way ticket to tendonitis.
