went to guitar center and got a yamaha rbx1700vs(cant find any pics on google =/.) bass.
with an acoustic(brand) 20watt bass amp.
i just wanted something to learn on and this seemed decent enough..
any really easy stuff anyone has for me to learn that sounds cool? preferably starting slow stuff because i have not even looked into understanding tabs yet, which i'm told are pretty self explanatory

Learn some Blink 182 stuff to start.
Or even metallica.
Pretty easy riffs and nothing hard.
At least it gives you something to start learning.

this is great advice because of the well-known bass line. most musicians dont go around listening to blink 182 past age 16.

i'd really like to adjust the action because(as i've been told) you have to hold down the fret's slightly harder due to the string vibrating against the neck(i believe the bars)
would i need to raise my action or lower it to prevent the buzzing noise?
