I do not have the option to try before I buy, so I need to get some opinions here.
I am looking to buy either a Mesa Dual Rectifier, Mesa Roadster, or Mark V.
I'm aiming for a tight and aggressive tone.

If you could list the advantages the amps have on one another and give your opinion, I would really appreciate it.

If you need more information about anything, let me know.

Yes. A lot of people love their Dual Rect. I hear a lot of people say the Mark V blows it away, and that the Roadster is 40x better than the DR, but people still speak highly of the DR. So, I'm still not sure.

Honestly man it really sucks you can't play them before you buy one, because they are all great guitar amps and all very greatly. For just a nice aggressive distortion the mesa duel rec, for more flexibility in your sound if you plan trying differents styles I would say the Mark V, never played the roadster though.

My favorite mesa is actually the single rectifier, but thats my opinion.

the mark v is immense and tight. It costs a boatload though.

Money isn't an issue.

Do you know what makes the Mark V different from the other 2?

This is why I want pros and cons compared to the other 2 amps. If it is the most awesome tone in the world, why doesn't everybody get it? It's the same price as the Roadster, and only $200 more than the DR.
