I know him. He's extremely camera shy and sounds better off camera. He just can't do it in front of a camera. Really bad stage fright. Could barely even sing to his ex girlfriend.

Constructive criticism is welcome. Saying "he sucks" is not. I'm trying to get views, rates, comments and critiques.

I watched the "Wonderwall" cover. It was good. Can't even tell if he has stage fright or not.

Are you talking about his voice or guitar playing?

I have been in enough music performances to recognize that he was slightly nervous do to the tone and the shaking of his voice, but I expected it to be worse after your description.

He doesn't have bad tone or a bad voice, but I would suggest to him as a friend that he take in deeper breathes when singing. Air is the key to singing and playing wind instruments. Maybe he can look up some videos on singing from some free video voice lessons or something. When you take in air properly and use it, it can help you relieve nervousness while singing and also make sure that your tone isn't inconsistent. Tell him to keep it up.

Thanks for the comments guys! More videos are up! I think he's starting to learn to get over his nervousness. His latest upload sounds like he's doing better with the nervousness / stage fright. Voice seems like he opened up a bit more.
