1st off, i need help with my tone. i can never seem to get good tone.
some bands i would like to sound like are pantera, metallica, dethklok, iron maiden. those are mainly the only ones. i definately need help with my lead tone. i use a 100watt fender ultra chorus, and a schecter sunset deluxe, with a boss MT-2 pedal. so any suggestions for tone would be helpful. if you need examples of tone i want for a certain band, ask me, and ill try and get that to you

2nd, im shopping around for my next guitar. i know i want humbucker pickups, and a fixed bridge, that looks sexy (string thru, tone pro or w/e) i really big into metal, and im thinking something ESP. any suggestions would be great

3rd, best strings? i really dont know what all is involved in strings and stuff. (playing mainly is standard)

thats all i can think of for now, ill post up more if i think of any. thanks! :)

thats not a bad guitar man, I love esp's and esp LTD's for that matter. set neck mahogony with emg's will sound great. Although your problem with tone is stemming from your amp. Fenders blow at getting a decent metal tone for the most part.

depends on your price range man.... ofc peavey 6505+, marshall jcm 800 or 900. Mesa Boogie Rectifier (single, duel or triple rectifier) Hiwatt and soldano, I mean there are ton sof high end tube amps that are awesome for metal. If you can tell me what you are looking to spend I could probably have a better chance of helping you find sometihng worthwile for the price.

Price range? That's the main issue.
