2 full albums to be exact. It's all just folk acoustic music. It's mainly just basic chords and strumming paterns with a few little lines that i'm sure someone could figure out. I suck at figuring things out by ear, so I was wondering if someone would be up for this?

Here is the artist and albums

Nick Motil - My Dreams
Nick Motil - One of These Days

If someone would be up for this, let me know how much fg you would want for it, thanks.

imo you should try to figure them out by ear before you ask for someone else to tab.

eventually you gotta be able to learn by ear, its a great skill.

And the only way to do that is by practicing, and basic chords/strumming patterns are a great easy start

Just find the root note on the guitar, play notes until you get the same tone as the note in the music, then you can figure out what key its in from there.

Then just mess around with intervals until you get the right tone for each new note/chord

I can learn riffs and solos by ear, but for some reason I have trouble with chords, it's stupid I know lol.

Edit: And right now I really don't have time to be honest. School at 8-3:30, work from 4 til 9 every day. sats are 8am to 9pm, sundays are church and work till 9 lol.

hmm. do you know if the chords they are using are open chords? try listening for the bass note in the chord and then try different common chords that use that note until you get a chord that sounds right. If they are using really uncommon or exotic chords it will be hard because you'd have to listen to each note seperately

if they're barre chords just try out all the shapes until you get the same quality of chord then move it around until it's at the right pitch.

then repeat for each chord or find out the chord progression they are using with google or w/e

idk what to say about the time thing. its like if you can spare enough to learn this it will help you so much in the future

edit: damn ur schedule is really tight

Yeah man I know. I know I could do it, I know a LOT of theory, I'm just not used to doing chords, and I have no time right now lol.

I'm great at identifying chord progressions of songs. How much would you be willing to pay? And I don't really know where I could get the albums...
