Pro's - Good fender quality

Con's - they are ulgy

if you shop around on eebay or craig's list you could most definitely find a used american tele for around $500, but if not, a new mexican one is around $400. i personally have a 20 year old mexican one that is real haggard looking with lots of upgrades,but it plays great.
