So, I picked up a Warlock when I was in canada 2 years ago.
It's a very comfortable guitar, but the sound is getting worse and worse. I've considered that maybe my amp is the problem, but i plugged in my old Jackson and it still sounds great.

So my question is -
Should i get a EMG Zakk Wylde 85/81 combo for $200 to salvage the most comfortable guitar i've ever played (Which ran me for only about $450)
Or just move on to something new?

I've never liked Warlocks to begin with.

warlocks are hideous. you should probably look into a new guitar, as i can assure you, there are ones that are more comfortable out there.

I'd look into a new guitar.
if you are stuck on replacing the pickups

Seymour Duncan JB in bridge
Seymour Duncan 59 in neck

Best metal pickups in my opinion.

EMGs lack too much tone for my taste and sound way too processed, but if that's what your looking for. those emgs are the best you can probably find
