ok so i have this Ibenez Talman custom and i let someone take the strings off of it to put them on his guitar
so the guitar was left without strings for a while id say about uhh 1-2 months or so maybe more
and when i put strings on it(this guitar has a floating bridge for a whammy bar) the bridge was waaaayy too slanted up when i tuned it
and of course its a bitch to get tuned because of the floating bridge

so i tuned all the strings real low so it didnt mess up the bridge or w/e
and now its been sitting on my wall for mouths like that

any suggestions of how to get the bridge returned to normal slant and not slanted up real high?
or any comments on whats wrong with it?

Can't really help with the bridge problem, but I can tell you that not having strings on any guitar for that long is a bad idea.

First off, what the FUCK did you let him take your strings for? Their like 10 bucks a pack
tell the kid to go buy his own. I suggest you never let him do that again./

To be honest, your neck is probably warped, and that can't be fixed. So it is pulling your bridge up too far to try and accomodate for the bow in the neck. You're most likely out of luck bro :(.

ok take the plate off the back and tighten the 1 or 2 screws that attach to the spring that holds the floating bridge, if that is the problem it should be fixed, but im guessing ur neck is warped so just leave the strings on it for 1-2 months and see if it goes back to normal.
