Between $30-$50. Any recommendations?

I was looking at this, http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--BEHUM300 but I'm not really sure what I should be looking for.

I'm pretty new to playing guitar and I have a Dean Vendetta XM (the cheapest one I could find).

Personally I would spend a few more dollars and get a BOSS MT-2 Metal Zone
I know some people her frown upon these but their versatility is amazing (I think anyways).

I would just save up for a better one. I have a BOSS MD-2 for my distortion and it works quite nicely for just about anything, but it was about $90 I think.

I gotta tell you, I hate this pedal. Really wish I didn't pay $90 for it.

Yeah some people just really don't like it, and others love it. Haven't seen too many people in the middle of love and hate though.

To each their own I suppose.

My advise to the topic maker is go try some out.

I would suggest the Boss Metal Core pedal. I have found some fantastic metal tones, and i've got some sic pinches during Lamb Of God because of it
