Hi,
I am buying ESP LTD EX-50, but I have one simple question.
Whats the difference between ESP, LTD, and ESP LTD? Sometimes I see names like "ESP" "LTD" "ESP LTD" on the same guitar model, whats the difference?
Many thanks,

Think of it as Gibson and Epiphone. ESP is the shiznit, and expensive. LTD is also good, but cheaper

cheaper materials, built in different countries, not as good of quality etc.

i suggest playing a few of that model to find one that's setup good and feels sturdy. i've played some squires that are setup better than fenders in shops, and same with epiphones and gibsons. with extra scratch down the road you can upgrade the pickups and hardware on your ltd to be real good. im fuckin tired.

Well, I know that, but I meant:
I seen some guitars named ESP LTD, ESP alone, and LTD alone. Whats the difference? That was same model..

Different materials. Basically, ESP will use the absolute best materials on the market.
LTD will make the same guitar, but by using cheaper and not-as-good materials, but that doesn't reflect on the quality of the guitar.
ESP-LTD's are just LTD's that have ESP before the name. Just think of it as an LTD guitar.

In summary, the only differences between ESP and LTD are one has cheaper materials, one has the expensive ones.
Play some ESP's and some LTD's and you'll notice the similarities and the differences

They are almost the same, ESPs will have some better hardware, maybe a little better tonewood, i beleive only ESP's are neck-thru and LTD only goes up to set-neck. There will be better quality controll. But i have an LTD V and it is awesome.

And I believe that ESP-guitars has better and longer guarantee. Usually the expensive once have life-guarantee.
