if your budget is £450 there is a veeeeery nice semi-pro jackson which will fill all your needs, comes with a licenced floyd rose and 81/85 pickups and very nice neck

More details are needed, but Ibanez makes some good starter metal guitars.

I went for the SG-400 Cherry, brilliant guitar and it was on offer too. But Ibanez are a decent make for beginners metal guitars like ClanBK said - post up the extra details so the veterans could help out a little more.

LOL... Epic failure tongue.gif

Hmm.. That's the RG370DXL if I'm not mistaking.

neck type: 3pc Wizard II neck
body: Basswood body
fret: Jumbo frets
bridge: Edge III bridge
neck pu: INF3 (H) neck pu
middle pu: INFS3 (S) mid pu
bridge pu: INF4 (H) bridge pu

Infinity 3 and 4 pickups

Those are the details.

Now, are you left handed or right handed? And if you have the money to afford it, Ibanez are great guitars.

i would avoid any basswood guitar, although high quality basswood can sound good it is rarely the case on affordable guitars

I hate Ibanez guitars. The high-end ones are good, but the low end ones are horrid imo. I owned one.

Starter guitars should be limited to ESP and Schecter, if you wanna play heavier styles of metal. Wait, nvm. Just noticed you had slipknot in your sig. You should be fine with w/e.
