I think most of their albums up to and including Nymphetamine is at least decent. I never listen to this band anymore, but it's not any worse than comparable mainstream metal bands.

The singer, of course, looks like a clown but if you're not an insecure teenager you should be able to disregard his looks and focus on the music.

Their 90's material is classic. "V Empire", "Dusk And Her Embrace", "Cruelty And the Beast".are very great releases, some of the best in Symphonic Black Metal.

"Midian" onwards is still descent, but moved towards a more polished/commercial sound.

I agree everything up to Nymphetamine is worth checking out. It's kinda hit and miss. Their guitar style in their more melodic tracks reminds me a lot of Iron Maiden, but with dani filth screeching in the background. lol

Cruelty and the beast is a classic, the newest one Hammer of the Witches is really good too

Nymphetamine is their best album tbh, banger from start to finish.
I use to be a huge CoF fan. Anything after Nymphetmine is.. lol meh.
