Hi there,
when I was on vacation in denmark a few months ago and was driving back home a song came up on the radio which I've never heard before.
Since I was a bit more concentrated on driving (and danish radio folks speak kinda fast sometimes) I didn't get what Artist or Songname it was.

The parts I still have in my head are:

"while you're sleepin' i watch you grow"
"i hope you feel it too and know i love you so"

and something about "silence" that kept repeating within the chorus iirc.

The upper 2 sentences come up in Helltrains song "My little stars" (http://www.songtexte.com/songtext/helltrain/my-little-stars-38829bf.html) which is a totally different music genre than what the song was.
The song was sung by a female singer, it was pretty slow, "relaxing", a little sad.



I'm hoping someone might have an idea of what it could be... internet researches didn't bring anything up so far and the radio station could not help me either without an exact time of when the song was played.

Was this an english singer? What year is the song from? What genre of music is it?

as the lyric-snippets should show the song itself was in english yes. if the singer was english herself or just sang in that language, i have no idea.
also since I didn't even understand the singers or songs name I doubt that they said what year it was from at that time. I assume it was rather "new"
genre was - as stated in the description - something along slower pop.. there wasn't anything that reminded me of rock or electronic music
