Got a book of interviews and articles from the beginning of his career to the Orphans days and I've been listening to most of his albums again. What are your favorite songs/albums? I've got a renewed respect for Long Gone and other albums I didn't care too much for at first. Favorite for me would be Rain Dogs (original, I know) because it opened the floodgates for me haha.

I've heard 4 albums by him and the only one I like is Real Gone

I love how it alternates between mellow and harsh / groovin

Choice tracks is "hoist that rag", "sins of my father" and "don't go into that barn"

I've listened to Alcie from same era but I find it a bit overwhelming

One of the ones I haven't gotten into. I'll probably buy the CD since I can't seem to find a decent download of it.

Reading about the origins of the album definitely had me intrigued.

NP: "Sins of My Father". Damned good stuff.
