I realize Synthpop/electropop is a small fraction of pop music out there. Please try to stay on topic by only posting and discussing Synthpop.
Please do not spam post YouTube embeds. By only posting one at a time, it gives everybody an equal chance to share.

im surprised noone mentioned depeche mode yet. shouldve been the first thing posted in a synthpop thread.

I was planning to get around to them at some point. Depeche Mode are basically a godfather of synthpop. They were among the first to combine synthesizers with pop. They honestly aren't one my favorites but they do some have some excellent songs and I am a fan. That song I posted by Keshsa is synthpop. The beginning of the song may not have elements of synthpop but the main part of the song is electopop or synthpop (basicly a term for modern synthpop). Not all of Kesha's songs are synthpop and she is not really considered a synthpop artist. But if the song meets the right characteristics, its a synthpop song by definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synthpop
