The Knife reminds me a lot of Diablo Swing Orchestra, as they can not be summed up by a single album that they've produced.

What turns you on is in individual tracks, and it's no different than 9/10ths of anyone. For example, type "Got 2 Let U" into Google search engine and you will find many track posts, but no album mentions until page 3, and that's just a Wikipedia post. I love The Knife, but for individual tracks and because I consider myself an artist. Got 2 Let U is great, but I can't identify with any other song on the same album, and I'm glad I can't identify with any other song on the album. I like to think that I am fond of a certain song on the album and that other people enjoy what I fail to identify with on the album.

In reality, all the other songs on the album I mentioned are probably just shit, but let's imagine that they are simply beyond my comprehensions and tastes, and they are still worthy of recognition... Or are they just shit? It's a serious question. Is The Knife a subjective matter of "what people like and don't like" or is The Knife just sometimes good and sometimes shit?
