I am curious how much music you guys have that you've downloaded/purchased and have not listened to. On my iPod I am down to 4 albums I've never listened to on my "New Shit" playlist but probably have albums lying around on my tablet, laptop, etc. that haven't been uploaded yet.

I'm also curious how much new music you guys consume on any given day. I'm down to 1-2 albums a day, if that, lately but used to go through about 3-5 every day.

I typically listen to music right after I acquire it unless I'm on my way out the door for whatever reason. I recently downloaded a bunch of Hindustani classical that I've yet to go all the way through though.

Typically had 10-15 artists, 5-10 albums to check out at any given time. Computer crashed and never backed up that notepad document so I've completely forgotten it all. Stayed close to my comfort zone since then.

never happened to me but I've always had a back recovery disk for all my music file ( composition included ), I couldn't stand losing my music.

I'm usually pretty good about backing shit up every few days or so but this just slipped through the cracks. It wasn't the digital media I lost though, just a list of artists, songs, albums, whatever else that gets recommended to me through other forums or last.fm or whatever.

I used to download big amounts of shit listen to it once and move on quick but now I try to give albums minimum 2-3 listens all the way through before I make up my mind, unless they are complete horseshit of course

I much prefer this way to be honest, you develop a growing relationship with the albums instead of buying and tossing new shit all the time

but I usually listen to 1-2 new albums everyday for sure

Jeebus. 21+

On my... 32? 33? birthday, my friend gave me five DVDs worth of music.

I'm now 40. I still haven't gone through all of it. o_O
