Anyone else heard it yet? I've listened to it once, but it's all a bit overwhelming to me, having a new MBV record after worshiping Loveless for years. I definitely like it though.

It's amazing. It pretty much met my expectations, so I'm very happy.

To be frank I'm terrified to listen to it. Following up a masterpiece like Loveless would be quite the task. Gonna give it a shot at some point today.

most excellent, much easier to listen to than loveless for first-time listeners as well.

i almost had an orgasm during this song, this album is fucking incredible. how much of a bummer would it have been if it wasn't?



also, comparing this one to loveless is stupid because that album is forever untouchable

also also, i want everyone to know that i chose to spend my $30 on new album - which includes the vinyl and cd. for me, $30 is not even a week's worth of weed; just buy it imo.

How so? It's a 22-year followup to one of the greatest and most revered albums of our time. A friend of mine worded it well, that he was afraid they were going to sound like a cover band of themselves.
