Even being a major fan of this group I wasn't expecting much of a leap from Year of the black rainbow. To my surprise, Ascensions was everything I wanted in a new album. Luckily the band had more to offer. A second part to The Afterman called Descension. I've already listened to Coheed And Cambria - The Afterman: Descension, and here is what I think. This album has some of the best work they've ever done as a band. It's everything that makes them amazing, cleaned and polished with more concept and depth than most bands can dream of.. This is my favorite album out of their entire catalog..

These are the only official releases, but if you really wanted too (Like I did) you can find the whole album somewhere. (To be fair... I paid for an advanced copy of the album, so I own both parts of this record, I was just impatient)
