Suicide Silence, Whitechapel etc etc etc are all stellar bands if you look past the whole scene/trendy thing that deters so many. I listened to mostly trve metal for years being ignorant to it myself, but times change.

Even BMTH has a few songs I really enjoy (inb4 tha hate)

It's ok to enjoy bands with shitty fanbases imo
