The song I really like from this new album is Defender - has a seriously mean riff in it. Btw I cannot embed vids

It's cool will give it an open minded listen. Always lumped them in with the suicide silence type deathcore. original blood runs black album (allegiance, although they lost most of the band after that) is a pretty good example of good riffage and overall good metal, will post up after class

For me, there are 5 bands I like that are lumped in with some poor POOR bands :

As I Lay Crying
Bullet for my Valentine
All That Remains
Unearth
Caliban

These guys all pump out great riffage and songs, but get lumped with the fringe screamo/barely ball dropped teen whinee shite.

Granted, All the names are kinda whinee, and Bullet do indeed pump out some needlessly emotional shite - but they are developing into much more of an arena thrash band.

Always been a fan since the 7th grade and now I'm a junior in college.
