I've known about a lot of this for awhile but now there's an article to express it.

Article on how DJ's/producers buy "Likes" and "Followers" on facebook and soundcloud.

What do you guys think?
I'm pretty sure DJ's and producers aren't the only musical artists who do this. There's probably many more. (Lil' wayne *Cough Cough*) None officially though.

the buying likes and what not has been going on since my space with my space plays . its obvious when you get a trillion generic ass comments and half are in spanish. deff really dumb and i wouldnt want to support any artist that does that.

tunnidge tweeted this a few days ago "There is a whole generation out there that thinks the dance music cultur is about raybands and corporate backed festivals, which is cool But in the beginning it was a dis engagement from the mainstream, a fuck you to the profit and bullshit. Pirate radios and illegal raves. " and thats how i feel. the best shows are the ones that are more underground

The best shows can also be mainstream massives as well. DJ craze at Paradiso was INSANE. And other big DJ/producers that know what the fuck they are doing are sick to see as well. Skream & Benga for example, even Above & Beyond. I guess they aren't exactly "Mainstream" though :p

i mean yea ive been to mainstream stuff i went to starscape this year that shits fun , i been to buncha massives in bmore past 3ish 4 years, theres tons of people and what not to vibe out with but personally i think it sucks being in a crowd of 102088348745043034 people compared to a warehouse or something smaller. and smaller events get more personal and what not . and sound is generally better / weightier in enclosed smaller places cause its not drowned out with thousands of people and open space .
