I remember when I was a child that put old music on a pedestal like you're doing right now. The fact is that there's no difference between what was on the radio 40 years ago and what's on the radio today. If you put any effort into music listening as a hobby you'd come to that realization yourself.

Because the record companies are just looking for the next catchy song so they can line their pockets...

wrong 40-50 years ago the beatles were mainstream music on the radio and a little later songs like Bohemian Rhapsody and many other great songs

That was an incredibly small percentage of the radio and there is still a small amount of incredible bands on the radio.

There were so many good bands and songs then

Today i never find anything modern that is good on the radio

And all the top songs on charts are obviously all junk while in the 1960s alot of them were amazing

And i find most of the alternative indie and of course everything people list on this forum to be complete crap as well
