and pretty much most metal other than brutal death metal and black metal have a least some beauty (ie melody) to them.

but yeah post-metal usually has some great stuff, specially post-black i find

melodic black metal, yeah, but brutal black metal is just unmelodic rapid-fire pounding and screaming, with the occasional chord change. that cernas pretty nice, though.

i can sorta understand it, although it doesnt appeal to me personally. i like some brutality, but its gotta have some melody, too.
