Been hearing great things.

Mkay finished my 2nd run through.

7/10 album, did not grip me like Formation did. The singles are fuckin awesome, couple of the other tracks are good, but the riffing is not great on some of the songs. Guitar work is stepped up (yet again) by Alex and Eric, seriously fuckin crazy solo's and harmonics going on. Drums sound great, bass is chuggy, and Chuck's vocals are exactly what a Testament fan should want.

Powerslave cover is also very good

The album's first half maintains the heavyness, and the 2nd half of the album kinda goes back to Ritual days with epic songs, acoustic etcs. Defo worth the listen

I think i preferred the rest of the album. I listened up to Throne of Thorns, it was all good. I also enjoy True American Hate much more a second time round.

I've only listened to them once 2-3 years ago

live at Wembley, they were the opening act for Megadeth and Judas Priest :D

they weren't bad, I always tell myself I should look into their stuff but I haven't gotten around doing it yet :/

High 5 bro - we were at the same show, my first time seeing Priest <3 Were you standing or seated?

Listen to Formation of Damnation, then this new album. If you like what you hear - The Gathering is next.

Yeah man - I would possibly bump my rating from 7/10 to 8/10 based on 5 listens, and my enjoyment of the riffs and album-moods. There's an awesome podcast out by Rock 94.7 interviewing Chuck about the album. AFK xD

nice, it was my first time too (and only one). I was standing, around the left side during Testament and Judas Priest and the right part during Megadeth.

I'll check those, thanks.
