I went only for Every Time I Die, it's such a disorganized and disgusting (like, literally disgusting) mess it wasn't even worth it to stay for ETID. The kids -- majority of Mexicans (nothing against Mexicans) wearing the skinniest jeans ever, beanies (in 85 degree weather), and lip rings -- would hit girls in the face and laugh at them in "pits", rip hats/other personal belongings off your person, etc. Vans Warped Tour always manages to bring a really disgusting & rowdy crowd but not quite like this. I've been the past two years with friends for more of the ska/reggae stuff because that's what they were into, but they couldn't go this year so I went with someone else just for ETID. She hated it, but that's because she's only been to festivals in Europe which apparently is a huge drastic change from Warped. Anyways, I always end up going for 1-2 decent bands that they decide to put on in the midst of Motionless in White, blessthefall, We the Kings, Suicide Silence, Bring Me the Hairspray, and all of those other shit bands, but I will never be returning.
I'm used to going to hardcore shows where stuff like hitting girls in the face isn't okay. I haven't been to a bunch like most hardcore kids but I know enough...
