Nice, what was the name of your band?
And how did you go from metal to trance????
we were molesting the dead they are now "the gurchick tree" . theyve played with a lot of big metal bands (off top of my head - dying fetus, dysentery, waking the cadaver, visceral disgorge, mortal decay ).. i left before most but i did get to play with mortal decay, anal blast and estuary and a few others like abacinate .

howd i get into "trance" .. well im not specifically a trance fan lol, i could only name a few trance artists i never listen to it... but along with metal/grind i had always been a fan of hip hop and reggae / dub /ragga sounds (prolly cause my favorite cds i got from my uncle were slayer , bob marley, and bone thugs n harmony when i was like 9), which led me to get into some breaks artist in early highschool, which led me to dubstep in around 07-08 before it got raped and exploited .. dark, minimal, very weighty bass centered songs along with the dub influences in things like the percussion drew me in. i also liked that you could find beats with many different sounds / influences like hip hop , because a lot of things were sampled and theres a lot of room within 140bpm to work with , it could be a music of many sounds.
