Looking for some intelligent lyrical tunes, Ill start off with my all time favorite song writer and punk rock hero Greg Graffin! Lead singer and song writer of one of the oldest punk bands ever, and the oldest that still tours! He is now a professor of social science at UCLA. and has done 2 solo albums, that are great! Feel free to add your favorite tunes, and when I say lyrical, I mean meaningfull and logical lyrics, (NOT RAP). looking for well writen songs!

not the biggest pearl jam fan, but love the stuff eddie did solo! hes a very good song writer!

Anything from Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Jefferson Airplane, The Beatles. They all write great, meaningful lyrics. At the moment my favourite well written song would be:

Dude, absolutely. The guy is brilliant. The lyrics for Generator in particular are very interesting.
