I see little to no Elliott Smith songs posted on here, nor any topics made about this late, great man.

Some people think his music is "depressing", and I agree to an extent. However, that's part of what makes it so great. I listen to all types of music, but Elliott Smith is probably my favorite artist of all time. Yeah, I went there.

Yep, I've heard it. Ben Folks also did a tribute to him. Elliott played at Lou Barlow's going away party; amazingly, the 45 minute video was captured and put on YouTube.
