I'm doing it on the cheap and just bought all the stuff for it. Going spray paint style instead of felt.

Going black with a red mouth, doing paper mache for the ears and dome, sanding it down and nailing the ears to the dome from the inside.

Anyone have any tips or suggestions before I start?

Except for laughing? no not really. I lol @ people who wear mau5heads at shows. It's pretty lame to be honest :/

...I dunno; I've seen some YouTube vids of some really cool mau5heads. The quality varies from person to person, of course, but the good ones are REALLY phenomenal, imo.

Hey calm down there bro!.... I have 2 mouse heads of my own, But I never wear them to shows......... That would be retarded.... I did one for a project we did (a daftpunk deadmau5 tribute show) and another I did for fun! One of them was a fury grey one and the other was a cool spray green fiberglass one...
so as an art project these are super fun!! but to wear them at a show, if your not 15, not very cool....

and Id say if your going to do it, dont go cheap... Nothing worse than a cheap already novilty item on your head...... I have alot of differant ways to make these, including wood, plastic, metal, paper (CHEAPO), tinfoil (CHEAPO) ect ect.... theres alot of resources online you can do, google how to make deadmau5 head... im sure youll find what you need!
