Was about to start this thread, thank you.

I hear a lot of people talking about "Old Coheed" And in my opinion it doesn't matter, their entire catalog has been fantastic and this song is no different.

So far on this new album we have "Sentry the Defiant" and "Iron Fist", both incredible. I am so excited for this album I can hardly wait, good thing they know what their fans really want, and produce samples for us.

Only CD I wasn't head over heels for was No World. But they came back hard with The Black Rainbow.
I was in love.

And this album is shaping up to be amazing.

Ah, well No world has one of my favorite tracks on it and the second song I learned on acoustic "Mother Superior".

Good thing you're not one of those fans who curses everything they have done after In keeping Secrets, those people piss me off tremendously. Personal opinions are very acceptable so I am not saying they can't have one, but they like to tell me I am not a true fan because I enjoy everything equally.

I love some tracks on NWFT.
But it's not the greatest album altogether.
Radio Bye Bye, Running Free, Mother Superior, and No World For Tomorrow are all awesome. xD

I do love SSTB and IKSSE3 the best easily.

They kinda went down hill from there. Good Apollo 1 was pretty good, 2 had some decent tracks, but NWFT was not even written by coheed lyrically. Their sound changed dramatically in YOTBR for the worse.
His voice is now deteriorating from heavy smoking unfortunately. A lot of the acoustic stuff he does now is great, however.
But he can't live up to his vocals of the first 2 albums live at all. They play all those songs half step down and it quite frankly doesn't sound very good.

Lucky them getting to play with Maiden. I am not a fan of Coheed though, i have seen them once and listened to the first album twice. Just pisses me off.
