So i just put Burzum playing on my ipod dock and I just realized how shit it sounds...

It sounds so crackly and doesn't seem like its picking up every frequency.

So i was wondering, anyone else out here listen to burzum? do you have any specific equalizer settings for it? (specifically on my ipod which is what im playing it out of)

I just want to reduce the crackly background and make it more clear :(

Burzum is the best black metal band around ^^

If you think it sounds like shit on iPod then buy a good cd-player or get better ear-phones, messing with EQ isn't gunna do much for you.

it's allways gunna be lo-fi tho, that's the way it is

Dude this is Burzum, you actually want a worse sound.
Try pissing on your iPod and seeing how it goes

"The album was recorded under purposefully bad conditions. No guitar amplifier was used, and Vikernes plugged his guitar into the amplifier of his brother's stereo and used an old fuzz pedal. He also asked a sound technician for the worst microphone he had and ended up using a headset as the microphone."

Sorry how do you know which album I was listening to? That sounds like how he recorded his first or second album, which wasnt the one i was listening too. On top of that (and for the record) i know what its supposed to sound like, i listen to Burzum and my computer through decent eadphones and didn't sound bad like playing out of the dock.

And to Svarter, yeah true but hifis cost so much :( i was just curious if eq changing helped
