Moved around a lot but I spent most of my childhood in Puyallup (didn't sound funky until I moved). Lived in a shit-hole in Edgewood before I left (Edgewood was essentially two hills and a valley (I was in the valley)). I was actually born in Tacoma and my dad lived there for some time so I went out there a lot. My Grandparents still live in Tacoma and that's usually where get-togethers are at so when I visit, I'm in Tacoma. Still not a bad town but it really has gone to shit with gang population. (I've met some upstanding gang members in my life but more often than not, the majority consists of hot-headed morons who pump their chests when they misinterpret 85% of the English language as personal insults. Not saying gang members are morons, but morons are morons and they can often be found in gangs.)
Lived with other family members for a time shortly before I left and in that amount of time I was all over the place. Bonney Lake, South Hill, Kent and another place I can't remember the name of for the life of me. Kent was the one of the last places I lived in and that's when I saw most of Seattle.
Beautiful coastline I swear to God. Planning on moving back west when I have the resources and the freedom to be comfortable doing so. I live in Northwest Indiana now. What I would give for mountains and the ocean and weather that doesn't make you age three times human speed. Phenominal weed is extraordinarily easy to come across too. Too bad I don't smoke anymore.
