Just download the Beatles' discography, grab some Beach Boys albums, get some good old school blues rock like Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Buddy Holly, etc.

Also, look into John Lennon's solo albums, particular Plastic Ono Band and Imagine, as well as George Harrison's All Things Must Pass.
