But by far my favorite album of 2011 would have to be: Jungle Rot - Kill On Command Such a great album.

I didnt know devildriver came out with a new album, ill have to check it out.

Symphony X - Iconoclast (Totally incredible, just as good as Paradise Lost)
Opeth - Heritage (Different style, yet awesome)
Insomnium - One For Sorrow (Wasn't bad, but I felt like it was a bit of a letdown compared to Across the Dark)
Nightwish - Imaginaerum (Didn't buy it yet, only listened on youtube, but WOW).

For some reason, I didn't get hooked on the newest Dream Theater album as I thought I would... It was pretty good though.

I have heard so many good things about Nightwish new album, but can it actually be as good as everyone says? They are a reasonably simple band - and they have never really been "riff" orientated... Please elaborate on why it's wow lol

Just like most of the albums, the orchestra work is MINDBLOWING, some riffs are actually powerful, and they adapted everything so Annette's voice is just fabulous.
