Haven't listened to an album this overrated since "Trout Mask Replica".

It is as if the band is fucking with me, trying to find the line where I finally say "fuck it" and turn the album off. Right now I'm on the track "Peking O" and it sounds like they are trying to use as many unappealing sounds in one song as humanly possible.

Fuck my life.

one of my friends told me to listen to him, I trust him with music
but honestly I didn't get the appeal of the album... maybe I just need to listen to it again, it's been a while

There's a fucking dog on that album, how is it not a masterpiece?

Tago Mago, like "Trout Mask Replica" requires repeated listens. Check out Can's fifth album "Future Days". It's a bridge between their later, dreamier soundscapes and their earlier experimenting.

Not even exaggerating -- I almost threw up after listening to this album.

I don't know how much of that to put on the album but I'll wager it is at least 33.3% the album's fault.

It almost made me throw up.

If you take out their inane wankery it just might be acceptable.

Tom, try Can's album "Ege Bamyasi".
You might have a different view of them.

Can't just base it on one album, and what others think.
Listen to all of them.
