I believe we once had a fight on the subject of rap like a year ago or more. You claimed i was an ignorant idiot calling all rap shit. Does this finally vindicate me then?

Not if at one point you were calling all rap shit.

I think I do remember that lol. Yeah I guess but the vindication cleansing process will only be complete if you can explain why you only like nujabes and not any other hiphop artists.

That's cause I don't like all the black ( no offence ) hip-hop 'gangster' thing. The music just doesn't appeal to me because the only emotion in it is 'check me out i've got guns and i fuck bitches'.

And of course the fact that all it is a voice backed up by a simple drum rhythm or some kind of auto-tuned house stuff.

In general I just don't like Hip-Hop, for me to like hip-hop it needs something special. Nujabes has the goofy ( but awesome ) instrumentals, and as for the only other rapper I like, Eminem really knows how to put emotions in his songs.

So yeah, tried to explain it as best I could ^^

this is a very common statement i find myself seeing more and more often..
seems ignorant to me when there are so many positive artists out there with huge messages! people just dunno where to look& blame it on the genre.. horizons need expanding!
(for example.. blu, oddisee, common, mos def, tribe called quest, pete rock, the roots, asheru, talib kweli, KRS-ONE, little brother, foreign exchange, phonte, j dilla, 9th wonder, gold panda, j cole, blackstar, etc. etc.)
